Data controlled by those closest to it.
Communities form around ecosystems — a reef, a forest, a river, a farm cooperative — and self-govern the datasets that describe them.
Big Fish × Naturecode Maldives
Big Fish Maldives holds the lease for Faadhoo and Lumboakandhoo islands; Naturecode Maldives is the data + governance partner. Together the community stewards the natural ecosystems of both islands — a Faadhoo mangrove forest under bi-weekly drone + every-other-day satellite MRV with planned Furcate Ground Units, and the Lumboakandhoo poultry programme covered by Furcate cameras, mics, and environmental sensors.
Naturecode Maldives
Naturecode Maldives stewards the natural ecosystems of Kulhudhuffushi (mangrove forest with bi-weekly drone, every-other-day satellite, and planned Furcate Ground Units) and Maafushi (livestock monitored by Furcate cameras, mics, and environmental sensors).
Sundarbans Stewards Network
Forming across Sundarbans villages and the cross-border PSP (permanent sample plot) network. World's largest mangrove ecosystem (>10,000 km²) — focus on resilience loss tracking, salinity-stress response, and blue-carbon baseline. Onboarding alongside Naturecode Maldives mangrove playbook.
Kiribati Atoll Reef Initiative
Forming with island-council partners across the Gilbert Islands. El Niño-influenced reefs experience prolonged heat stress more often than 99% of the world's reefs. Aligned with the Kiribati Australia Climate Security Initiative (KASCI) and aiming to publish a fringing-reef bleaching baseline alongside coastal-erosion telemetry.
Bergslagen Boreal Stewards
Forming alongside Naturecode's home jurisdiction. Bergslagen's mixed-ownership boreal forests and Natura 2000 wetlands sit at the front line of EU restoration policy — early targets are continuous-cover-forestry baselines, capercaillie habitat indicators, and peatland-rewetting MRV under the EU Nature Restoration Law. First Nordic community on the platform; co-located with Naturecode-the-association in Sweden.
Form. Govern. Benefit.
- step · 01Form
Stewards of a real ecosystem federate, attach Tenzro identities, and bind to a geography.
- step · 02Define
Rules for access, pricing, attribution, and usage are written into community policy.
- step · 03Contribute
Members and sensors publish datasets under the community's shared governance.
- step · 04Benefit
Value flows back — to the community treasury, members, and ecosystem interventions.
Your ecosystem deserves its own community.
- — At least three founding stewards
- — A named, bounded ecosystem (geohash polygon)
- — A first dataset to steward
- — One on-the-ground operator contact
